From My Table to Yours: A Grateful Heart as the Year Ends

As I wrap up another year in the kitchen—and in life—I’m filled with gratitude for you and for what we’re building together at New Leaf Table. 2025 was a full year. It stretched us, grounded us, and reminded me (again and again) that nourishing food really is one of the greatest gifts we can offer—to ourselves, our families, and our communities.

From My Table to Yours: A Grateful Heart as the Year Ends

I started New Leaf Table as a way to make clean, seasonal, nutrient-dense meals feel possible in the middle of real, everyday life. And seeing so many of you bring these meals to your table, again and again, has been one of the biggest blessings of my year.

From cozy casseroles and soups that warmed your fall and winter tables to fresh, colorful summer salads and feel-good mains, each recipe you’ve cooked, shared, and savored is a thread in this growing community. I don’t take that lightly.

I’m so thankful for:

  • The mama who made the Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad her Sunday meal prep hero
  • The empty nester who found joy again in her kitchen with our Creamy Spinach Artichoke Pasta
  • The family who served Maple Pecan Crusted Chicken on their Thanksgiving table

These aren’t just recipes. They’re stories. And I’m beyond honored to be a small part of yours.

As we close out December, I hope you’ll take a deep breath, light a candle, and remember that nourishment isn’t just what’s on the plate—it’s the peace, presence, and people around the table too.

Whether you're cooking a new recipe this week or simply resting (with a mug of bone broth), know this:

You’re doing enough. You’re feeding more than just hunger. You’re cultivating home.

So from my kitchen to yours, thank you for being here.

Here’s to more good food, deeper peace, and everyday gratitude in 2026.

With love and a full heart,

Chef E
